I don't think I've seen anyone post this one. Topeak has a series of pda/cell phone bags that can be mounted on stem/handlebar/seatpost. They also sell extra brackets. I have this one: http://www.topeak.com/products/Bags/PDAPhonePack which works nicely for my lgvx8350. I mount it on the stem of my mountain bike.

I've been using a leather holster for my BB for more than a year now.  It fastens to my camelbak very securely with nothing more than a belt clip.  It's worked great for both mountain and road biking.  As well as hiking.  It's never fallen off and I can still answer the phone anytime.

This is something I came across just today. I have not used it yet, but it looks very interesting.

Lots of choices.

Rivet makes a really solid universal phone clip that could be used with rip and stick to attach to the handlebar.  Also since this is made to attach for numerous applications it is easy to move from one location to another ie., dashboard to belt loop, etc.  I've been using one for five+ years and have found it to be well-designed, sturdy, and secure.

This is the Rivet website showing the basic package.

Go to Amazon to purchase ultra-cheap.

This is the basic package:

You will probably want to add this as it has a backing plate with pins made to go through fabric (eg. velcro):

Anyone have any experience with any products to mount the cell phone on a set of handlebars?  I've used BIMactive on a phone in my back jersey pocket with great success, but starting the app and getting GPS up and going takes a bit of time.  If I had a handlebar mount, it would be much easier to handle during the time it takes to acquire GPS, in hitting pause at stoplights, in stopping the app, or maybe even answering the phone during a ride.

Thanks,

Most backpacks now have cell phone pouches on the chest straps. Depending on the size of your phone, it may or may not fit.
