Jon I have been using the software for two weeks on my blackberry storm (not storm 2); the software is great and works very well. However there are one or two things that would make it even better:
1. Auto start/stop (Cycling) 2. Manual pause 3. To be able to start a new route with out having to up load previous ride. 4. The elevation profile does not work.
Keep up the good work, I look forward to next version.
Thanks
Ian

You can remove any stops and starts post ride by using the TUNE GPS feature. This feature can also be used to remove any stop time at the beginning and end of the activity.
You do not need to upload the previous activity before starting a new one (I think). You can simply discard it when finished.
Elevation is based on USGS data, and is only as accurate as USGS survey databases. I've done several activities in my local area, and the elevation profile is pretty close.

Elevation data used to show on each activity that I recorded. It stopped functioning on any activities after Feb 10, 2010.
Any suggestions?

Idea/Suggestion: 1. Have a tone like those used for pace and distance that signals when the time, distance or calorie goal is reached. Perhaps even increments (for time and calories) the same way the distance is marked. 2. Is it possible to have tones for tooslow and too fast that are more easily discernable? Sometime, I cannot tell what that sound I just heard was supposed to be telling me.
Thanks!

Good ideas. Added to the queue. The distance one may have issues as there are some patents around this

What I would really like to see is better audion. Today I tried out both Endomondo (now it finally works) and GreatTrainer (which lost all my info). BIM Active is by far the best except for two points:
1. The other two both have voice audio, encouragement, for example, one a;llows you to input a time goal and will subsequently tell you if you are Ahead or Behind and by how far. ie. Time goal 3 minute mile; "1mile, Ahead, 5 seconds". The other simply states your mile times and total time; "2 miles, last mile 3 minutes 5 seconds". It is really useful and motivating.
2. Largely unimportant, but their interfaces are just so much better looking. It doesnt really matter, but it would be nice if it looked good.
It's still my favourite though, many thanks.
